1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Unlike conventional web converters and formatters, DevToolkit does not collect or transmit your input data to remote servers for any of the following browser-based utilities:

• JSON Formatter, Validator, and Converters (YAML, CSV)
• Base64 Encoder/Decoder and URL Encoders
• UUID, Password, and QR Code Generators
• Regular Expression (Regex) matching and Code Diff analysis
• Cryptographic Hash generation (SHA-256, MD5, Bcrypt, HMAC) and JWT Decoding

2. Network Diagnostic Tools Processing

For server-dependent diagnostic utilities (DNS Record Lookup, SSL Certificate Checker, HTTP Header Inspector, and IP Lookup), our backend microservice receives only the target domain name, host, or IP address you explicitly query. This data is processed ephemerally in RAM solely to return the lookup result and is never persisted, indexed, or associated with personal user profiles.

3. Cookies, LocalStorage & Advertisements

Local Preferences: We use your browser's localStorage to remember your theme preference (Dark/Light mode). This data remains exclusively on your device.

Google AdSense & Third-Party Vendors: Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.

4. Web Server Logs & Analytics

Standard technical logs (such as request time, user-agent string, and HTTP response codes) may be collected by hosting infrastructure (e.g. Cloudflare / Nginx) strictly for DDoS prevention, rate-limiting, and operational security. These logs are purged periodically.

5. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites (such as GitHub, documentation references, or standard RFC specifications). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such external websites.
